The Phantom Planet is an 1961 American black-and-white science fiction movie, produced by Fred Gebhardt, directed by William Marshall, that stars Dean Fredericks, Coleen Gray, Anthony Dexter, and Francis X. Bushman.
The year 1980, An Air Force spaceship is bombarded buy a meteor shower and a lone astronaut is forced to land on a strange planet. Once on the planet the astronaut sheds his space suit and shrinks down to 6 inches in height the same as the other inhabitants of this remote world. The astronaut meets two sexy woman a blonde and raven-haired pair of beauties, whom both of vying for his attention and love. He yearns to return home and rebukes the blonde’s advances. He eventually falls for the raven-haired beauty and she expresses her willingness to help him escape.
Before they can escape though another alien, warring species kidnaps our raven-haired starlet, and our hero astronaut must come to her aid and rescue her. Once free she confesses her love but allows him in the end to return back to his spacesuit which allows him to return to normal size just as a scouting party arrives searching for him.
