The Man from Planet X

Planet X has entered our atmosphere and is nearing the earth, a spaceship from that Planet X arrives on an isolated Scottish island. A strange little space suited humanoid man emerges into the fog of the moor speaking in musical tones. A professor and reporter discover the spaceman and although they try and communicate with him fail. As they leave him, the Alien follows them to a scientist who wants to exploit the alien for his own good and attempts to leave the spacemen for dead by shutting off his breathing apparatus, but this is not the case…

The alien disappears and it is also being noticed that several of the town folks have gone missing. With some help from Scotland Yard it is decided that the military must destroy the spaceship, but they are unable too at first due to the fact the missing town folks are now under the mind control of the space alien. The reporter is given to 11:oo p.m. to rescue the towns folk. As the reporter approaches the ship, he realizes the spaceship is signaling the Planet X which is planning an invasion of earth due to their own planet dying.

The reporter is able to overcome the space alien by destroying his breathing apparatus and help the missing villagers escape. Time is up the military strikes destroying the ship and alien. In the end we see the Planet X sweep by then change course and head back into the outer reaches of space.
